(St Augustine, Florida) August 31, 2020 – CareFast+ is now offering urgent care services in a new building located at 110 Health Park Blvd. This location will be open 365 days a year to serve the St. Johns community’s non-emergent needs. CareFast+ is a convenient, affordable solution for people who are not able to make an immediate appointment with their doctor or have a health concern that does not require the emergency room.
This location will also provide rapid COVID testing with results in minutes, not days. Rapid COVID-19 tests are offered upon evaluation and recommendation by CareFast+ providers. Rapid COVID test results are available, on average, within 15 minutes. If tested within 5 days of the onset of symptoms, the test has a 96.7% sensitivity and 100% specificity. CareFast+ will bill the patient’s insurance, unless the patient does not present insurance, the self-pay cost is $160, if COVID is the only test run, but prices may increase if other services beside an exam and COVID test is run.

CareFast+ is operated through a joint venture partnership between Flagler Health+ and TeamHealth Ambulatory Care.
